Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Granite - Low Voltage

A Granite Stone Effect Garden Globe for Low Voltage Lighting

The Stone Globe spherical garden light in granite is a stone effect outdoor light moulded from polyethylene, with a rough surface that weathers naturally. It runs on low voltage 12V and comes in 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameters, so it works as a single garden globe light or as a grouped display of different sizes. The bulb is supplied, and the globe is rated IP65 for outdoor use.

Granite Finish, 12V Version

This version has a grey granite stone effect finish with a textured, slightly speckled surface. It looks like natural stone by day and glows softly when lit at night. It is the low voltage 12V version of the range, so it needs a Stone Globe approved transformer. Stone Globe also makes mains, plug and play and solar versions, which are listed separately.

How It Works

The globe is supplied with its bulb: 2.8W G4 in the 28cm size, 5W E27 in the 38cm size and 7W E27 in the 50cm size. It connects to a low voltage 12V supply and must be used with a Stone Globe approved transformer. The globe fixes to a 12.5cm circular mounting base bracket with a 25mm cable gland, and an optional ground spike is available. You can choose a cable length of 0.45m (standard) or 5m, or no cable. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where It Works Best

The globes suit driveway and path lighting, borders and planting beds, and give a warm glow for alfresco evenings on a patio. Grouping two or three sizes together gives a more natural, informal look.
