The Molecule Cluster 19 gathers nineteen glass hemispheres onto slender brass rods that extend from a central body at varying lengths and angles, rather than radiating evenly outward like the Spark Round chandeliers. The result is a looser, more organic formation, closer to a scattered cluster of light than a single geometric sphere, with a silhouette that changes noticeably depending on the angle it is viewed from.

In Transparent Glass

In transparent glass, each hemisphere shows its LED source directly, so the nineteen points of light read as a field of small, distinct bulbs rather than one diffused glow. The brass rods stay visible between the glass, adding to the sense of an intricate, engineered structure suspended in the air. It is a version built for rooms where the detail of the fitting itself is worth showing off.

Choose Your Finish

The frame is available in Black Gunmetal or Lacquered Burnished Brass. Black Gunmetal keeps the transparent globes as the visual focus, with the rods receding into shadow, while Lacquered Burnished Brass brings warmth to the structure, so the brass itself becomes as much a part of the composition as the nineteen points of light.

How It Works

The chandelier takes 19 x E27, 5W LED bulbs, included, at 2700K warm white and around 8550 lumens combined. It is dimmable, but only with an electronic dimmer switch, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The fitting spans 630mm across and 598mm high, suspended on a cable that can be adjusted to set the drop you need, and weighs approximately 20.9kg.

Its irregular, clustered silhouette makes the Molecule Cluster 19 a genuine focal point over a dining table, a kitchen island, or in a stairwell where it can be seen from more than one angle as people move past it. Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, the Cluster 19's rods are set at varying lengths and angles by hand during assembly, meaning the exact arrangement of hemispheres varies slightly from one chandelier to the next.
