The Molecule Cluster 19 gathers nineteen glass hemispheres onto slender brass rods that fan out from a central body in a deliberately uneven, cloud like formation, rather than the tidy symmetry of the Molecule family's round chandeliers. Some arms sit higher, some lower, so the fitting reads as a loose gathering of light rather than a single geometric burst, and no two viewing angles look quite the same.

In Frosted Glass

In frosted glass, each of the nineteen hemispheres glows as a soft, even disc rather than a point of sparkle, and the brass rods and bulbs behind the glass are hidden from view. With this many light sources working together, the frosted glass turns what could be a busy, complicated fitting into a calm wash of warm ambient light, filling a room from above without a single hot spot or glare point.

Choose Your Finish

The brass frame comes in Black Gunmetal or Lacquered Burnished Brass. Black Gunmetal lets the nineteen frosted globes read as the main event, with the dark metal rods almost disappearing between them. Lacquered Burnished Brass brings the frame itself into view, so the cluster reads as glass and warm metal together rather than glass alone.

How It Works

The chandelier takes 19 x E27, 5W LED bulbs, included, at 2700K warm white and around 8550 lumens combined. It is dimmable, but only with an electronic dimmer switch, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. It measures 630mm in diameter and 598mm in height as supplied, hung on a 5m cable that can be shortened on installation to set the exact drop for the room. The fitting weighs around 20.9kg, so a secure ceiling fixing point is essential.

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, every fitting leaving its Namyslow workshop is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass, and a piece with this many individually mounted hemispheres depends on that same hand assembly, arm by arm, to get the cluster's uneven balance right.
