Three Lights, One Compact Wall Fitting

The Armstrong Triple takes three hand blown glass globes and arranges them along a slender brass spine that projects from the wall, each globe held on its own short rod so the fitting reads as a considered, sculptural cluster rather than a standard wall light. In opal mat glass, the effect is a soft, even wash of light that suits close, everyday spaces.

In Opal Mat Glass

Opal mat glass fully diffuses the light passing through it, so each of the three globes glows as a smooth, glare free sphere rather than a visible bulb. It is the most versatile of Schwung's three glass options for the Triple sconce, giving a warm, consistent glow that works equally well beside a bed, above a console, or repeated in a row along a corridor or staircase.

Choose Your Finish

The brass spine and wall plate are available in three finishes: Black Gunmetal, a darker, more graphic frame, Lacquered Burnished Brass, a warm aged brass tone sealed under a clear lacquer, and Polished Nickel, a cooler, more reflective finish.

How It Works

Three integrated LED globes run at 5W each on an E14/E12 base, for a combined output of around 1350 to 1500 lumens at a warm white 3000K. The fitting is dimmable, but only with a compatible electronic dimmer using ELV or trailing edge technology. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry, indoor spaces only. The sconce projects 331mm from the wall and stands 637mm tall, with a circular wall plate 125mm in diameter, and weighs 2.6kg complete.

Its compact footprint and even glow make the Armstrong Triple in opal glass a natural choice either side of a bed, above a console table, or fitted in a repeating row along a hallway or staircase, where a consistent, glare free light is more useful than a single strong feature.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every Armstrong Triple is made to order at the Namyslow workshop, the brass spine formed and finished by hand and each glass globe individually mouth blown.
