The Armstrong Triple arranges three hand blown glass globes along a slender brass spine projecting from the wall, each globe on its own short rod so the fitting reads as a considered cluster rather than a standard wall light. In marble glass, each globe carries its own soft, veined pattern, giving the fitting a quiet material richness even before it's switched on.

In Marble Glass

Marble glass is a soda lime glass finished with a milky, softly veined internal pattern, so light shifts and layers as it passes through rather than diffusing evenly. Across the Triple's three globes, that gives a warmer, more atmospheric glow than plain opal glass, well suited to bedrooms, dressing rooms, and other spaces where the material quality of the glass matters as much as the amount of light.

Choose Your Finish

The brass spine and wall plate are available in three finishes: Black Gunmetal, a darker frame that lets the marbled glass stand out, Lacquered Burnished Brass, a warm aged tone under a clear lacquer, and Polished Nickel, a cooler, more reflective option.

How It Works

Three integrated LED globes run at 5W each on an E14/E12 base, giving a combined output of around 1350 to 1500 lumens at a warm white 3000K. Dimming is possible only with a compatible electronic dimmer using ELV or trailing edge technology. The fitting is IP20 rated, for dry indoor spaces only. It projects 331mm from the wall and stands 637mm tall, with a circular wall plate 125mm in diameter, and weighs 2.6kg complete.

The marble glass suits bedrooms, dressing rooms, and other quieter, more considered spaces, either as a pair either side of a bed or repeated along a landing or staircase where its layered glow adds warmth rather than a sharp, bright light.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Each Armstrong Triple is made to order at the Namyslow workshop, its brass spine hand finished and its three glass globes individually mouth blown, so the veining in the marble glass varies slightly from one fitting to the next.
