Ten Lights, One Continuous Brass Form
The Armstrong Linear takes ten hand blown glass globes and threads them along a solid brass bar, staggering the drop of each light so the fitting reads as a single sculptural piece rather than a row of separate pendants. In marble glass, that form gains real material depth, each globe carrying its own soft, milky veining rather than a flat, even glow.
In Marble Glass
Marble glass is a soda lime glass given a softly veined, milky internal pattern, so light shifts and layers as it passes through rather than diffusing evenly. Across ten globes strung along the Linear bar, that effect compounds, giving the whole chandelier a richer, more atmospheric glow than plain opal glass, and a genuine sense of decorative weight over a dining table or island.
Choose Your Finish
The brass bar is available in three finishes: Black Gunmetal, a darker, more graphic frame that sets off the marbled glass, Lacquered Burnished Brass, a warm aged brass tone sealed under a clear lacquer, and Polished Nickel, a cooler, more reflective option for the same structure.
How It Works
Ten integrated LED globes run at 4 to 5W each on an E14/E12 base, giving a combined output of around 2200 lumens at a warm white 2200 to 3000K. Dimming is possible only with a compatible electronic dimmer using ELV or trailing edge technology. The fitting is IP20 rated, for dry indoor spaces only. The brass bar measures 1635mm wide by 768mm deep, with the ten globes hung at staggered drops; three extension rods (150mm, 300mm and 450mm) are included to adjust the overall drop, and the canopy suits both flat and vaulted ceilings. Complete weight is 18.6kg.
Where It Works Best
The Linear 10's length and staggered form suit a long dining table or a kitchen island where a single ceiling piece needs to do the work of several smaller lights. The marble glass adds enough material interest that it also reads well as a standalone feature above a console or in an open plan space with a strong material palette already in play.
Made by Schwung
Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Each Armstrong Linear is made to order at the Namyslow workshop, its brass bar formed and finished by hand and its ten glass globes individually mouth blown, so the marbling in the glass varies slightly from one fitting to the next.

Questions People Ask
Does the marbling look the same on every globe?
No, because the glass is mouth blown, the veining in each globe varies slightly, which is part of the character of the marble glass option rather than a fault.
Can the Armstrong Linear 10 be dimmed?
Yes, but only with a compatible electronic dimmer using ELV or trailing edge technology; it will not work correctly with a standard leading edge dimmer.
Is this chandelier suitable for a bathroom?
No, it has an IP20 rating, which restricts it to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or other humid spaces.
