A Compact, Balanced Glow
The Armstrong Dual pairs two glass globes on a compact, symmetrical brass frame, extending in opposite directions from a central point. In opal mat glass, both globes glow with a soft, fully diffused light, making this the calmest and most evenly lit version of the smallest Armstrong configuration.
In Opal Mat Glass
Opal mat glass diffuses the LED source completely, so neither globe shows any trace of the bulb inside, only an even wash of warm white light. It's the glass to choose where a quiet, unobtrusive glow matters more than pattern or texture, and it suits almost any interior without competing with the rest of the room.
Choose Your Finish
Lacquered burnished brass, polished nickel and black gunmetal are the three frame options, each fitted with the same two opal mat globes. The finish choice is purely about how the brass reads against the wall since the light output is identical across all three.
How It Works
Two 5W LED candelabra (E12) bulbs are included, one per globe, for 10W combined at 2700K and around 1000 lumens. It's dimmable with a low voltage electronic or trailing edge dimmer. The fitting measures approximately 64cm high, 15cm wide and 17cm deep, weighing around 2.2kg, and is intended for wall mounting only. No IP rating is specified, so it's suited to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms.
Where It Works Best
Its balanced, symmetrical shape makes it a natural single fitting for a space between two windows, above a console, or centred over a bed head. Because it works as a self contained piece rather than needing a matching pair, it suits rooms where only one wall position calls for a sconce.
Made by Schwung
Schwung, founded in Namyslow, Poland in 2014 by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen, describes opal mat as the most liveable of its three signature glass finishes, a description that holds even at the smaller scale of the Dual.

Questions People Ask
Does the Dual need to be installed in pairs like the 6L and 6R?
No, it's designed as a complete, self contained sconce on its own. It can be installed singly or in multiples, whichever the room calls for.
What's the light output like?
Around 1000 lumens combined from its two 5W LED bulbs, at a warm 2700K, enough for an accent or feature light rather than a room's main source.
Is opal mat glass easy to keep clean?
Yes, wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth, using a damp cloth first if it's dirtier, and a gentle glass cleaner will lift any grease.
