Choosing Your Configuration

Four real variables let Toto be matched precisely to its setting.

• IP Rating: IP54 for indoor or sheltered use, IP67 where the fitting faces direct rain, ground moisture or standing water outdoors.
• Beam: 33° for a tighter, more focused throw up a column or tree trunk, or 40° for a wider spread across a broader wall or facade panel.
• Lamp Temperature: 2700K for a warm, welcoming tone, or 3000K for a slightly crisper, more neutral white.
• Bezel Finish: Stainless Steel for a robust, semi reflective trim, or White (RAL 9010) for a discreet, paintable finish.

The baffle is black on every build to control glare, and Toto runs Orluna's Origin Natural LED engine as standard.

How It Works

Orluna builds every IP67 Toto with a breather gland, which equalises internal pressure and stops condensation forming as the fitting heats and cools, and triple o ring construction sealing the lens, body and cable entry against dust and water. That IP67 rating means dust tight with protection against temporary immersion, while the IP54 option protects against limited dust ingress and splashing water, appropriate for more sheltered locations.

Behind the beam sits Orluna's Origin Natural LED engine, engineered around a custom phosphor recipe rather than a standard off the shelf chip. Orluna specifies typical figures of CRI 98 and R9 99 for accurate colour and true reds, TM-30 Rf of approximately 97.7 for overall colour fidelity, and TM-30 Rg of approximately 100.4 so colours read naturally rather than looking oversaturated.

Where It Works Best

Toto sits at the centre of the range as the general purpose choice, higher output than the compact Micro, Zero and Mini, and less specialised than the wider beam spread and added power of Toto Plus. It suits garden walls, courtyard trees, columns and general facade lighting where a dependable, mid sized uplight is needed without the specific demands of a very tight niche or a very large elevation.

Andrew Kilborn took control of Orluna in 2009 and repositioned the company toward the high end architectural lighting market, with the Quad 50 downlight range establishing the brand among international lighting designers before compact architectural families such as One, Cero, Curve, Origin, Fade and Vio followed. Toto carries that same design led approach into exterior ground lighting, built on foundations laid in 1973 when Orluna's founders, a group of aeronautical engineers, were applying LED technology to demanding civil and military applications years before it reached architectural lighting.
