Alta Micro packs genuine output into the smallest housing in the Alta family, built for spaces so tight that even Alta Mini asks more of the location than it can give. It proves that a small uplight does not have to mean a weak one.

Choosing Your Configuration

Two beam options are available, a 35 degree spread for a more defined wash or a wider 50 degree option for softer, broader coverage from the same compact housing. Colour temperature runs to 2700K for a warm, traditional glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white. Choose IP54 for dry, sheltered indoor positions or IP67 where the fitting will face rain or standing water outdoors. The bezel is available in stainless steel for weather exposed settings or powder coated white (RAL 9010) to blend into a painted surface, with a black baffle fitted as standard to keep glare under control.

How It Works

Even at its reduced size, Alta Micro is built to the same sealing standard as the rest of the family, with a breather gland preventing condensation and triple o-ring construction protecting the lens, body and cable entry on IP67 specified units, which are dust tight and rated for temporary submersion. IP54 units are protected against dust and splashing water for covered locations. Its compact aluminium housing is engineered to draw heat efficiently away from the Origin Natural LED engine, which matters more in a small fitting than a large one, since there is less material available to manage the same thermal load.

Where It Works Best

Alta Micro is specified where the installation opening is at its smallest, tight stair stringers, narrow window reveals, slim garden wall copings and small decorative niches where even the Mini's footprint would be too large. Its 35 and 50 degree beams give a choice between a slightly more contained wash and a broader flood, letting it cover many of the same applications as its larger siblings from a fraction of the space, without giving up the output that makes an uplight worth installing in the first place.
