A Tiny Copper Spike Light With a 360º Band of Light
The LuxR Micro Spike Diamond 360º is a miniature low voltage uplight on a spike that pushes straight into the soil. It sends light all the way round in a 360º band, angled upwards, so a shrub is lit from every side. The brand states it is ideal for shrubbery, planters and larger pots.
Copper That Weathers Naturally
This version is machined from copper. It starts out warm and bright, then slowly picks up a natural patina outdoors, so it sinks into the planting around it. The light source is a replaceable 1 watt Cree LED with a CRI of 90 plus.
Choose Your Spike and Colour
- Spike length: 150mm suits pots and low borders, and 300mm lifts the head in deeper planting.
- Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a crisper neutral white.
How It Works
Push the spike into the ground and angle the head to suit the planting. It runs on low voltage, so it needs a suitable constant current driver, which is not included, and it is wired in series. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver. A 1m cable is supplied. The LED can be replaced, or swapped for a colour LED.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Use it in the middle of a planter or a bed, where light on all sides is wanted. For a focused one sided effect, choose the 180º version instead.

What does 360º mean for this light?
The light spreads in a full circle around the head, so planting is lit from all sides rather than just one.
Which spike length should I choose?
The 150mm spike suits pots and low planting. The 300mm spike is for deeper beds. The spikes measure 160mm and 310mm overall.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting and needs a suitable constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.
Will the copper change colour?
Yes. Copper develops a natural patina outdoors, so it darkens and softens over time. This is normal.
