A Constant Current Driver for LuxR Modux 1 and Modux Micro
The LuxR T-ECP4-IF is a compact 4 watt, non dimmable constant current driver with a 350mA output. It powers LuxR Modux 1 (M1) and Modux Micro fittings, which need a driver because they run on low voltage rather than directly from the mains.
How It Works
The driver is suitable for one or two M1 and/or Micro fittings at 350mA, wired in series. The output is 3 to 12V DC. It has built in short circuit, overload and over temperature protection, and it resets itself once the fault is cleared. The driver is rated IP66 and must be housed in a weatherproof casing when used outdoors. Because it is non dimmable, the lights will run at a fixed brightness. If you want to dim your LuxR lights, choose a dimmable driver instead.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask
Which LuxR lights does this driver power?
It is suitable for LuxR Modux 1 (M1) and Modux Micro fittings, up to two at 350mA wired in series.
Can I dim lights on this driver?
No. The T-ECP4-IF is a non dimmable driver, so the lights run at a fixed brightness. A dimmable driver is needed to dim LuxR fittings.
How far can the lights be from the driver?
The maximum recommended cable run from the driver to the furthest light is 20m.
Can it be installed outside without a case?
No. The driver is rated IP66 and needs a weatherproof casing when it is used outdoors.
Why do LuxR lights need a driver?
LuxR LED fittings are low voltage and are powered by a constant current driver rather than connected directly to mains power.
