A Miniature Stainless Steel Path Light With a 360º Wash
The LuxR Micro Recessed Path Light is a tiny low voltage fitting that sits in the ground or a wall. Its 3 facet 360º flange sends light outwards and downwards to build an even wash across the ground, which is what you want for lighting a path.
A facet is the opening that the light is emitted from.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
This version is precision machined in marine grade 316 stainless steel. It has a clean, bright finish that suits modern paving, decking surrounds and rendered walls, and it is built to cope with wet weather. The light source is a replaceable 1 watt Cree LED with a CRI of 90 plus.
Choose Your Colour Temperature
- 2200K: a very warm glow.
- 2700K and 3000K: warm white for most gardens.
- 4000K: a crisper neutral white for contemporary spaces.
How It Works
Fit it into a 21mm cut out so the flange sits at the surface. It runs on low voltage, so it needs a suitable constant current driver, which is not included, and it is wired in series. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver. A 1m cable is supplied. The LED can be replaced, or swapped for a colour LED.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Use a line of them to mark a path, a driveway edge or a set of stepping stones. They also work in walls and risers. The same design is available in the larger M2 and M4 sizes.

How does this path light spread its light?
The 3 facet flange spreads light 360º around the fitting, outwards and down, so the ground is washed evenly.
How deep does the hole need to be?
The body is 21.5mm long and the flange adds 9mm. The cut out is 21mm across.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting and needs a suitable constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.
Should I choose stainless steel or copper?
Stainless steel keeps its even finish. Copper slowly darkens with a natural patina. Pick the one that suits your paving and planting.
