Two Adjustable Spot Heads on One Slim Pole, in Seven Colours
The LuxR Modux 2 Twin Pole Light in powder coat puts two small, adjustable light heads on a single 25.4mm pole that pushes straight into the ground. Each head can be aimed on its own, so one pole can light a pathway, pick out a garden feature or highlight a single landscape element from two directions. Custom pole lengths are available, so please contact us if you need something other than the standard length.
Powder Coated Aluminium
This version is CNC machined in aluminium with a UV resistant polyester powder coat. It is available in matt black, matt bronze, matt olive green, matt white, matt white birch, matt dark grey and matt silver star. Matt black is a deep, non reflective black, and matt bronze is a dark brown that suits timber, bark and earth. Together the two heads draw 4 watts, and the brand states the whole fitting delivers around 360 lumens with a CRI of 90+.
Choose Your Colour, Beam, Temperature and Lens
- Colour: pick from the seven powder coat finishes.
- Beam: 26º is a narrow beam for a single feature, 36º is medium, and 74º is a wide wash for planting.
- Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a neutral white.
- Lens: clear gives the crispest beam, and frosted softens the edges.
How It Works
Push the pole into the soil, applying force only to the top of the pole and not to the heads, then tilt each head to aim the light. For a hard surface, an optional flange mount is available from the manufacturer, so please contact us. The fitting is low voltage and runs from a 700mA constant current driver, which is sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
The darker finishes disappear against foliage and mulch, while the lighter ones suit pale stone, rendered walls and modern planting schemes. Use it in borders, beside paths and steps, or next to a tree, sculpture or planting group, wherever two beams from one pole are more useful than one. A glare guard or a snoot can be added to the heads if you want tighter control of the light. Please contact us to check the right accessory for this fitting.

Questions People Ask
What is a twin pole light?
It is one pole carrying two adjustable light heads, so a single fitting and a single spike in the ground gives you two beams that you can aim separately.
What colours does the powder coat twin pole light come in?
Seven finishes: matt black, matt bronze, matt olive green, matt white, matt white birch, matt dark grey and matt silver star. Bronze is a dark brown.
Can I see a colour sample before I order?
Yes. Colours on screen are for guidance only, and physical colour swatches are available on request.
Which beam angle should I choose?
Choose 26º for a narrow stripe of light, 36º for a medium spread, and 74º for a broad wash across planting or a path.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting that needs a suitable 700mA constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.
How tall is it?
The whole fitting is 738mm from the tip of the spike to the top of the pole, and the two heads span 228.6mm. How much shows above ground depends on how deep you push it into the soil.
Can I get a longer pole?
Yes. Custom pole lengths are available, so please contact us with the length you need.
