A Powder Coated Snoot for LuxR Modux 2 and Modux 4
The LuxR Modux Snoot fits over the front of a Modux 2 or Modux 4 spotlight to cut glare and keep light away from where you do not want it. This version is UV powder coated aluminium, in a choice of four matt colours.
How It Works
The snoot protects the eye from the direct glare or sparkle of the light source. It also works as an adjustable shield, so you can direct unwanted light away from passers by. It turns a full 360º, and the friction fit hood can be adjusted to suit. The glass is fitted flush so water does not pool on it. It can be used with a hexcell louvre baffle if you need one, and the chamfered end keeps turning even when tight, so it can be set to any position.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Can I turn the snoot once it is fitted?
Yes. It offers a full 360º of rotation, and even when tight the chamfered end keeps turning, so you can aim it exactly where you want.
Can I add a louvre baffle?
Yes. The snoot can be used with a hexcell louvre baffle if you want to control the light further.
Do I need an electrician to fit it?
The snoot itself is a simple accessory, but the light it fits is a low voltage fitting that needs a constant current driver. We recommend a registered electrician installs the lighting.
