A Slim Stainless Steel Pole Marker That Washes Light Without Glare
The LuxR Modux 1 Wayfinder is a miniature pole marker light just 25mm in diameter. Its optic spreads the light in an asymmetric wash, and the brand states that no light is emitted above the horizontal, so there is no glare for people walking past.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
This version is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, a tough, corrosion resistant metal with a clean, bright finish that suits modern gardens and paths. The light source is a 1 watt Cree LED with a CRI of 90 plus.
Choose Your Colour Temperature
- 2200K: a very warm glow.
- 2700K and 3000K: warm white.
- 4000K: a crisper neutral white.
How It Works
The Wayfinder comes with a spiked base that pushes straight into the ground. A flange mount option for solid surfaces is available, bought separately. The fitting runs on low voltage, so it needs a suitable constant current driver, which is not included, and it is wired in series. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver. A 1m cable is supplied. The Cree LED can be replaced or swapped for a colour LED, and the optic can be changed to alter the beam width.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
The Wayfinder suits washing walls, paths and low plantings from a slim, discreet post. Space several along a path edge to mark the way without bright spots. Stainless steel is a good match for contemporary schemes and wet or coastal sites.

It is 700mm long plus 50mm at the top, and 25.4mm in diameter. The cable enters 215mm from the bottom.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting and needs a suitable constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered NICEIC electrician installs it.
Can I fix it to a hard surface?
It is supplied with a spiked base for the ground. A flange mount option for solid surfaces is available and is bought separately.
