A Thousand Points Of Glass
Mille Feux takes its name from the French for a thousand lights, and it is easy to see why once this flush fitting is switched on. Dozens of small, hand cut pieces of cream Tiffany glass are arranged in a tight geometric pattern and inlaid with glass bead work, scattering light in a way that a single large pane never could.
Built For Low Ceilings
This is a flush fitting rather than a hanging pendant, sitting close to the ceiling at just 25cm projection while still spanning a generous 45cm across. For rooms where headroom is tight, Mille Feux is designed to sit close to the ceiling and still make a statement, rather than needing the drop of a full pendant.
How It Works
Two E27 lamp holders are designed for LED GLS lamps, not supplied. The fitting is Class I with an earthed steel frame, and dimmable when fitted with a suitable dimmable lamp and dimmer switch. Standard E27 lamps mean an easy choice of light colour and simple replacement over time.
Where It Works Best
The geometric, cream toned glasswork and low profile make this a natural fit for dining rooms and hallways with standard or low ceiling heights, where you want a statement ceiling piece without losing headroom. Its warm, honeyed tones sit comfortably alongside both traditional and Art Deco leaning interiors.

Interiors 1900 has built handmade Tiffany glass lighting since 1983, and Mille Feux shows the more geometric, patterned side of that craft. Every one of the small glass pieces in this design is cut and set by hand, so expect gentle variation in tone and texture across the fitting, a genuine mark of handmade glasswork rather than a fault.
