A Low Voltage Wash Light That Ages Well
The Hunza Wall Down Light has a fixed head that throws a steady wash of light down a wall, a pier or a run of cladding. This version is solid copper and runs on low voltage, a pairing many of our clients choose because copper is meant to change over time instead of staying new.
Solid Copper With a Natural Patina
This is solid copper, not a plated or coated copper effect. Outdoors it moves from a bright polished tone toward a darker brown and, in some settings, a green verdigris. Hunza treats that as part of the design, and no two fittings weather in exactly the same way.
How It Works
- The head stays where you point it, so the direction is decided at installation.
- Fits onto timber, masonry or stone, with a mounting base and stainless steel fixing screws supplied.
- Body diameter 63.5mm and length 75mm, on a 75mm diameter base 28mm deep, with 1m of cable supplied.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, so a transformer is needed, sold separately.
- No lamp is supplied. A Hunza approved MR16 LED keeps the IP rating and warranty valid.
- Rated IP66 with a 10 year warranty.

- Made to order and usually dispatched in 2 to 3 days. If your specification is out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for an item that is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- A Hunza approved MR16 LED is not included.
- A transformer is needed and sold separately.
- Have the fitting installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions People Ask
Will the copper change colour?
Yes. Left outdoors it darkens from bright copper to brown and eventually green in some environments. That is expected and not a fault.
Can I redirect the head after mounting?
No. It is fixed once mounted, so set up or down at installation.
Does it come with a lamp?
No. It takes a Hunza approved MR16 LED, bought separately.
What can it be fixed to?
Timber, masonry or stone.
Is there a mains version?
Yes, the same fixture is also made as a GU10 mains version if you would rather skip the transformer.
