Copper Stake Spot That Grows More Beautiful With Age

Made from solid copper, the Hunza GU10 Stake Spot is a mains garden spotlight with an adjustable head on a 150mm stake. Use it to uplight a tree, graze a wall, pick out a water feature or throw shadows across a planting scheme. It runs on mains power and needs no driver.

Solid Copper and Its Natural Patina

This is a natural finish, designed to weather outdoors. When new, the copper is bright and warm. Over time it deepens to brown, and then to a soft green, much like copper guttering. That change is part of the appeal and is not a fault. If you want a finish that never moves, Hunza also makes this spot in 316 stainless steel and in powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

• Mains powered, with no driver required, and wired in parallel.
• Fits a GU10 lamp. The lamp is not supplied, and only a Hunza approved LED will maintain the IP rating and warranty.
• Adjustable head so you can fine tune where the light lands.
• Body diameter 62.5mm, body length 90mm and stake length 150mm.
• Rated IP66 with a 10 year warranty.

• Beside a pond or water feature, to catch the surface and the planting around it
• Under a mature tree, aimed up through the branches
• Along a fence or wall for a soft wash that suits a warm copper tone
• Gardens where you also want a modest amount of security lighting

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• Copper darkens and patinates outdoors. This is normal.
• The lamp is not included, and it has to be a Hunza approved LED.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Will the copper turn green?
Over time, yes. Copper moves from bright and warm to brown and eventually a soft green. It is a natural finish that Hunza designs to weather.

Is the lamp included?
No. The fitting takes a GU10 lamp that you buy separately, and it must be Hunza approved to keep the IP66 rating and warranty.

Is it mains or low voltage?
Mains. No driver is required.

Can I adjust the direction of the beam?
Yes, the head is adjustable.
