Copper That Draws the Eye to Your Sign
Some lighting is meant to disappear, and some is meant to be part of the picture. The Hunza Sign Light in solid copper is the second kind. Its spotlight head is carried out on a 500mm arm, washing light across a sign, name plate or section of wall, while the warm metal itself looks good in daylight. This is the low voltage version, designed for entrances, shop fronts and feature walls.
Solid Copper Made to Weather
This fitting is solid copper all the way through, not plated or painted, and Hunza designs it to patina outdoors. When new it is bright and warm. With time it deepens to brown, and on copper it can eventually turn a soft green, much like an old roof or gutter. That change is normal and not a fault. If you want a finish that stays put, the same fitting is available in 316 stainless steel or powder coated aluminium.
How It Works
- Aim it with a full 360 degrees of rotation and 0 to 90 degrees of tilt.
- Body 63.5mm across and 75mm long, with a 38mm pole of 500mm and a base 75mm in diameter and 28mm deep. Comes with 1m of cable.
- Wired in parallel on low voltage, so a transformer is required. See the Hunza transformers, sold separately.
- Takes an MR16 lamp that you buy separately. To keep the IP rating and warranty it must be a Hunza approved LED.
- Dimmable when dimmable LEDs are fitted.
- IP66 rated, with a 10 year warranty.

Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- Lamp and transformer are both sold separately.
- Solid copper will darken and patina outdoors, which is natural.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions People Ask
Will the copper keep its bright colour?
No. Solid copper is a natural finish that is designed to weather, going from bright and warm to brown and eventually a soft green.
How is the head adjusted?
The head turns through 360 degrees and tilts from 0 to 90 degrees on the end of a 500mm arm.
What lamp does it take?
It takes an MR16 LED that is sold separately, and a Hunza approved LED must be used to maintain the IP66 rating and warranty.
Does it need a transformer?
