A Mains Wall Light With the LED Built In

The Hunza Pure LED Wall Down Light Retro is a fixed head wash light that sends one soft sweep of light down a wall. The Cree LED is part of the fitting, so there is no lamp to buy. The Retro name refers to the wiring: it runs from the mains, which makes it a practical swap for an older fitting on an existing circuit.

Solid Copper That Weathers Naturally

This one is solid copper rather than a plated or painted finish. Left outdoors it darkens from bright copper to brown and, in time, a green verdigris, which is how Hunza intends the metal to behave. It suits owners who like lighting to age along with the building.

How It Works

A fixed head: you set the direction when you mount it and it then stays put.
A Cree LED chip gives 420 lumens from 4 watts, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
Choose 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees and a clear or frosted lens when you order.
Body diameter 63.5mm and body length 75mm, on a 78mm diameter base 55mm deep, supplied with 1m of cable.
Mains powered with the driver built in, so no transformer is needed. It is not dimmable.
Rated IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
The LED is built in, so there is no lamp to buy.
Colour temperature, beam angle and lens are fixed when you order, so check them before you confirm.
Solid copper will darken outdoors. That is normal and not a fault.
Installation by a registered NICEIC electrician is recommended.

Questions People Ask

What does Retro mean on this light?
It is Hunza's name for the version wired to the mains, so it can replace an existing mains fitting without low voltage cable or a transformer.

Will the copper stay bright?
No. Solid copper is designed to weather, shifting from bright copper to brown and eventually green over the years.

Can the LED be replaced?
The Cree LED chip is listed as a replaceable part, so a fault does not have to mean replacing the whole fitting.

Can I dim it?
No. This version is not dimmable.
