Mains Powered Copper Pole Light, No Driver Needed
If you would rather not run low voltage cable, the Hunza Pure LED Single Pole Light Retro is the one to look at. It is a solid copper spotlight on an 850mm pole that runs from the mains, with no separate driver to hide or wire in. The adjustable arm swings through 360 degrees and lifts from 0 to 90 degrees, and the head can be aimed downward to remove vertical light.
Copper That Grows Richer Outdoors
This is solid copper, so the colour is the metal itself. It starts out bright and warm, then deepens to brown and eventually to a soft green as it weathers, which is exactly how Hunza intends it to behave. Colours shown are for indication only, and swatches can be sent on request.
How It Works
- Runs on mains power and needs no driver. The fittings are wired in parallel.
- The Cree LED chip is integrated and serviceable, giving 420 lumens at 700mA (4 watts) with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Order in 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, with a 15, 25, 38 or 60 degree beam and a clear or frosted lens.
- Not dimmable.
- Body diameter 63.5mm and length 75mm, with a pole 38mm across (63.5mm at its widest point) and 850mm long. 1m of cable is supplied.
- Rated IP56/IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- In smaller gardens where one mains supply is simpler than a low voltage circuit
- Beside a path or drive, lighting the ground and the low shrubs beside it
- In front gardens, where a warm copper finish suits brick and stone
- Where you want a fixed brightness and have no need for dimming
Installed the Moonlight Design Way
We first worked with Hunza in 2003, and for over twenty years we have designed lighting schemes for real gardens, supplied Hunza fittings and installed them. The photographs on our Design Service page show our own completed schemes, and describe how we plan, draw up and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. Because this version connects to the mains, professional installation matters, and that page is a good place to see how we approach it.
Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- This is a mains fitting. It must be installed by a competent electrician.
- It cannot be dimmed.
- Copper will darken outdoors. This is natural and not a fault.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
