A Brushed Steel Pillar Light That Shines Both Ways

Fixed to a gate pillar or porch column, the Hunza Pure LED Pillar Light Retro sends a pool of light upwards and another downwards, so the stone or brick between them picks up texture and depth. This is the mains edition, so it connects straight to your mains supply and the LED chip is already built in.

Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel

The housing is solid 316 stainless steel in a brushed finish, which is why it suits exposed and coastal positions. It keeps a consistent look over the years, though in some environments a light surface tarnish can appear. A regular wash with water keeps that in check. If you like the idea of a metal that ages, there are copper and powder coated versions of the same light.

How It Works

• Light is cast up and down together from a single cylinder.
• The Cree LED chip delivers 420 lumens from 4 watts, with CRI 90 or more at 3000K, and the parts can be serviced.
• Pick 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, plus 15, 25, 38 or 60 degree beams and a clear or frosted lens.
• The body measures 63.5mm across and 139mm long, mounted on a 78mm base that is 55mm deep. 1m of cable is supplied.
• Runs on mains with no remote driver, and cannot be dimmed.
• IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.

Questions People Ask

Is this stainless steel pillar light dimmable?
No. The mains Retro version cannot be dimmed.

What grade of stainless steel is used?
It is marine grade 316 stainless steel.

Does it need a separate transformer or driver?
No. It is a mains fitting and no driver is required.

Can it tarnish?
In some environments a light surface tarnish can appear, and regular washing keeps it under control.
