A Mains Powered Spotlight for Uplighting Garden Features
The Hunza Pole Spot is a compact, pole mounted spotlight built to pick out a single feature rather than wash light along a whole path or border. This version runs straight off your mains lighting circuit and takes a standard GU10 lamp, so it is a straightforward fixture to wire in and to relamp later.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
316 is the grade of stainless steel used on boat fittings and coastal architecture, chosen for its resistance to pitting and corrosion. Left in its natural brushed finish, it holds up well in exposed or coastal gardens where a painted finish would eventually dull.
How It Works
- The head sits on a fully adjustable mount, so the beam can be aimed precisely at a tree, wall or statue.
- Wires directly into your mains lighting circuit, with no separate driver or transformer required.
- Takes a GU10 lamp, which is not included and must be a Hunza approved GU10 LED to preserve the IP66 rating.
- Rated IP66, and backed by a 10 year warranty on the fitting, with the approved GU10 LED lamp covered for 5 years.

Because it throws a focused beam rather than a wide spread, the Pole Spot is built for picking out a single specimen tree, an architectural feature, a statue or a section of wall, rather than lighting a whole run of border or path.

Hunza has spent more than 30 years designing and hand assembling outdoor lighting in Auckland, New Zealand, according to the brand, building fittings that are meant to be relamped and serviced rather than replaced.

- This fitting is not supplied with a bulb. It requires a GU10 lamp, purchased separately.
