Mains Powered Copper for Pillars and Piers

Fix this Hunza GU10 Pillar Light to a column, gate post or entrance wall and it casts light up and down in one go, giving the stonework real depth. It runs straight from the mains, so there is no transformer to hide and no low voltage cable to plan. The lamp is a GU10, bought separately.

Copper That Settles Into the Garden

Solid copper is left as a natural finish that Hunza designs to weather. At first it has a bright, warm glow, and as the seasons pass it turns brown and later picks up a soft green tone. If you would rather have a finish that never changes, the same fitting is made in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

• Lights upward and downward from a single body.
• Mains fitting with no driver required.
• Takes a GU10 lamp, not supplied. A Hunza approved LED lamp is needed to protect the IP rating and the warranty.
• Body diameter 63.5mm, body length 139mm, base diameter 75mm and 28mm deep.
• Rated IP66, with a 10 year warranty.

• You must buy the GU10 lamp separately.
• Copper will darken and patina outdoors. This is normal.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Does the GU10 version need a transformer?
No. It is a mains fitting and does not need a driver or transformer.

Is a lamp supplied with it?
No lamp is supplied. You add a Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp so that the IP rating and warranty are maintained.

Will the copper change colour?
Yes. It begins bright and warm, then darkens to brown and can eventually turn a soft green, which is how Hunza designed it to age.

How well protected is it against weather?
It is rated IP66 and carries a 10 year warranty.
