A Mains Powered Copper Spot With No Transformer

The Hunza NPS Spot GU10 is a copper luminaire head that runs straight from the mains, so there is no transformer to hide or wire. Mount it on a Hunza Tree Mount Kit to light the ground below a tree, or on a Hunza Super Spike to uplight planting. It accepts a GU10 lamp, which you buy separately.

Solid Copper, Left to Weather

Copper is a natural finish that Hunza designs to be left outside. It begins bright and warm, moves toward brown as the seasons pass, and on copper may eventually soften to green. Nothing is plated or painted, so the colour change is simply the metal ageing.

The Details

• Adjusts through 360 degrees of rotation and 0 to 90 degrees of elevation.
• The head measures 63.5mm in diameter and 90mm in length.
• Mains supply, parallel wiring and no driver required.
• Takes a GU10 lamp that is not supplied. Choose a Hunza approved LED so the IP rating and warranty stay valid.
• IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.
• Order as a head only, with a 300mm Super Spike, or with a Tree Mount Kit (rubber strap or screw fix). Both kits are black only.

• This is a mains fitting, so a qualified electrician should make the connection.
• Copper will patina outdoors. This is expected and not a fault.

Questions People Ask

Does the GU10 version need a transformer?
No. It runs from the mains and needs no driver or transformer.

Does the lamp come with it?
No. The GU10 lamp is sold separately, and a Hunza approved LED is needed to maintain the IP rating and warranty.

Will copper keep its bright colour?
No. It is designed to weather, so it darkens to brown and can eventually turn a soft green.

How long is the warranty?
The warranty is 10 years, with 5 years on the LED.
