A candelabra style table lamp with three arms and a tiered base

The Birdland 3 arm table lamp takes the same striped, crackled putty styling as the smaller Birdland lamp and builds it into a candelabra format, with a tiered base and column supporting three arms. Each arm is detailed with crystal clusters and red and beige spheres, and topped with its own cream and gold striped shade.

Gold leaf and cream finish

Cream and gold striping runs across all three shades, echoing the striped column beneath, while the red and beige spheres and crystal clusters on each arm add a bit of colour and sparkle without overwhelming the design. It's a decorative, layered piece rather than a plain three bulb lamp.

How it works

This is a three light table lamp, with each arm taking its own bulb. None are included, so you'll need to add three to your order. We'd recommend having a qualified electrician check the wiring if you're ever unsure about a fitting like this.

Where it works best

Given its size and three arm spread, it wants a bit of room, a console table, sideboard or a large side table in a living room or hallway where it can act as a real centrepiece rather than being squeezed into a small bedside spot. It's an indoor piece throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

This candelabra style lamp carries on a way of working that goes back to Flambeau's earliest days. Paul Gruer, the designer behind the brand's founding collection, came from a background in fine jewellery before turning his attention to lamps, chandeliers and sconces with a New Orleans sensibility, layering in the kind of detail, crystal, colour, sculptural stems, that turns a table lamp into more of a statement piece. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK and European markets, adapting them for 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
