A Dimmable G9 LED Capsule in Natural White
The Luxram Pixy G9 is a 7W dimmable G9 LED capsule bulb that gives 540 lumens of natural white 4000K light. It suits anyone looking for a dimmable G9 LED lamp to replace a capsule bulb in a small decorative fitting, and the light spreads all round the bulb rather than in one direction.
Slim Capsule Shape, Natural White Light
This is a slim tube shaped capsule with a clear outer cover, so you can see the rows of small LED chips inside. It has the two pin G9 base at the bottom. At 4000K the light is a neutral, natural white, cleaner and crisper than warm white 2700K to 3000K, and a good fit where you want things to look bright and true to colour. Luxram lists a colour rendering index (CRI) of 80.
How It Works
The bulb has a G9 cap and runs from a 220 to 240V mains supply. It uses 7W and gives 540 lumens, with a 360 degree light spread. It is dimmable, but a suitable dimmer is required. Please check the dimmer manufacturer's compatibility list before you buy, as not every dimmer works with every LED bulb.
Where It Works Best
A G9 capsule is the usual choice for small wall lights, table lamps, pendants and chandeliers, and for kitchen and utility areas where a neutral white light is useful. Before ordering, check that your fitting takes a G9 cap and has room for a bulb 62mm high and 16mm across.
