Here the DOME hemisphere is mounted on a slim satin black swing arm, so the light can be drawn out from the wall and repositioned to suit the moment. It brings a touch of the classic swing arm reading lamp to the collection's soft, rounded shade, a pairing of function and form that feels very much in the spirit of Faro Lab's 1970s references.

The satin black and gloss white finish

The gloss white dome keeps the warm, diffuse glow that defines DOME, while the jointed black arm adds a graphic, architectural line to the wall. Extended or folded back, it always looks deliberate, and the dark metal sits comfortably against both pale plaster and richer timber tones.

How it works

The adjustable arm lets you swing the shade closer for reading or push it back for a softer wash of light. A single E27 bulb, supplied separately, does the work. As a hardwired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its reach makes it ideal beside a bed or an armchair, where being able to move the light really matters. Use one to lean light over a headboard, or a pair to bracket a bed with flexible, directional glow. It works equally well in a study corner or snug.
