Shape is the main one: linear pendants run along a bar and suit long surfaces, while round ones cluster lights and suit central positioning over round tables or circular spaces.

Does frosted glass limit how bright it gets?
It does reduce peak brightness compared to clear glass, but provides more comfortable, even light spread. For kitchen task lighting you'd normally pair this with additional under cabinet lighting anyway.

Is the polished chrome easy to keep clean?
