Questions People Ask

Will 12 G9 bulbs use a lot of electricity?
G9s at 10W each would draw 120W if all on at full brightness, but LED options use much less. LED G9s are readily available and will significantly reduce energy consumption, making this a practical choice even for kitchens running long hours.

Can I dim just some of the lights?
No, all twelve are on the same circuit, so they'll all dim together. That said, dimming to 50 or 60 percent gives you excellent light for normal use while keeping energy low.

Is this fitting suitable for living rooms?
It could work in a very large living room with high ceilings, but it's really engineered with kitchens and dining spaces in mind. The substantial width and twelve lights are optimised for task lighting over a wide work surface.
