Sylvan is built around twisted silver metal ribbons that loop and twist at the ends, framing a domed acrylic diffuser in polished chrome where three 12W integrated LEDs sit sealed inside. Because the light source is built in rather than using separate bulbs, you get an even, glare free wash of light with no bulbs to source, install, or replace over time.

How It Works
Three integrated 12W LEDs are sealed inside the acrylic diffuser, delivering 2880 lumens of warm 3000K light across a 120 degree beam angle. The integrated design means no separate bulbs, no dimmability, and less wiring complexity during installation. It's Class I electrical standard, so an earth connection is needed. The LEDs have a long lifespan built in, covered by a 3 year warranty.

What happens when the LEDs fail?
The integrated LEDs are designed to last many years and are covered by a 3 year warranty. If they fail within that time, the whole fitting is replaced under warranty. If they fail after 3 years, the fitting would need to be replaced as the LEDs cannot be changed.
Can I dim this light?
No, this fitting is not dimmable. The LEDs are set to a fixed output.
Is it safe for use in a kitchen?
Yes, it's fine for a kitchen as a general ceiling light or over an island. The IP20 rating means it's not splash proof, so don't mount it directly above a sink or in a very wet area.
