How It Works

Two G9 capsule bulbs, up to 10W each, power the up and down light and aren't supplied with the fitting, so these need to be bought separately. A toggle switch is built into the fitting for easy control, and it's dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs. It runs to Class I electrical standards, which means an earth connection is required, and its IP20 rating means it belongs in dry indoor spaces rather than anywhere damp.

Where It Works Best

Because of its IP20 rating, this wall lamp isn't intended for bathrooms, but it works well in a hallway, living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room, particularly either side of a mirror, fireplace or piece of artwork where the up and down spread of light adds a bit of depth to the wall.
