How It Works

Sixteen G9 capsule bulbs, up to 10W each, sit within the sphere and aren't supplied, so these will need to be sourced separately. The drop height can be adjusted, though this requires an additional adaptor to do so. It's dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs, and it's wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning an earth connection is needed. Its IP20 rating means it's intended for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere exposed to steam or splashing.

Where It Works Best

With an IP20 rating, this pendant should be kept out of bathrooms, but it makes a real centrepiece over a dining table, in a double height hallway or stairwell, or hung in a living room or bedroom with enough ceiling height to let the maximum 215cm drop breathe. It needs a bit of space around it to really land as the room's focal point.

Design Details

Built from iron with crystal and K9 glass dressing each of the sixteen arms, this pendant relies on repetition to create its spherical form, with the individual arms adding up to something more sculptural than any single light could achieve alone. The French gold frame gives the crystal a warmer glint than a cooler metal would, adding a slightly softer kind of sparkle.
