It's dimmable as long as you fit dimmable bulbs and connect it through a compatible dimmer switch. The wiring is Class I, which means the fitting needs to be properly earthed when installed. Its IP20 rating means it's built for dry indoor rooms only, with no protection against moisture or splashing.

Where It Works Best

Because of the IP20 rating, this light isn't suitable for bathrooms or anywhere it could come into contact with water, so keep it to dry living spaces. It works particularly well in a hallway, living room, dining room or bedroom, mounted at eye level either as a single fitting either side of a doorway or fireplace, or hung in a matching pair.
