How It Works

32 G9 capsule bulbs are needed, 10W maximum each, none supplied with the fitting. It can be dimmed as long as dimmable bulbs are fitted, and it's wired to Class I standards, so an earth connection is required. The IP20 rating means it's built for dry indoor rooms only, with no resistance to moisture.

Where It Works Best

As a large fitting it earns its keep best above a kitchen island, over a dining table, or as the centrepiece of an open plan living space with some ceiling height to spare. A wide stairwell or double height hallway also gives it room to be seen properly.

Design Details

This is one of two finishes in the Farnley range, both built around the same idea of dozens of individual glass rods held in a metal frame. Here the rods are set against satin black ironwork rather than a brighter metal, which changes the character of the piece considerably even though the construction underneath is identical.
