Take the round Farnley shape and scale it up to 24 smoked glass rods and you get a pendant with real weight in a room, ideal for a stairwell, double height hallway or a dining table that needs a proper centrepiece. This larger pendant comes with a brass frame and smoked glass rods, giving a warmer tone to both the metalwork and the light it throws. For a different mood, the same design is also available in other finishes and glass tones across the range, so you're not limited to this combination if it isn't quite the fit for your room.

How It Works

There are 24 G9 capsule bulbs behind the glass, 10W maximum each, and these are not supplied so you'll need to add them separately. Fit dimmable bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch and the light output can be dimmed to suit. It's wired to Class I standard, which means it needs an earth connection when it's installed. Rated IP20, it's built for dry indoor rooms only, not for bathrooms or anywhere that gets wet.

Where It Works Best

Given its size, this pendant suits larger rooms best, living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and stairs with enough headroom for the full drop to show properly. As it's rated IP20, it should stay in dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms.

Design Details

Sitting within the Farnley range, this is the largest of the round pendants, built from an iron frame carrying 24 individually set glass rods. The scale gives it more presence than the smaller versions, and because each rod is angled during fitting, the finished shape can be tailored to feel either quite ordered or more loosely scattered.
