How It Works

Twenty four G9 capsule bulbs sit within the frame, each rated up to 10W and not included, spread out to give consistent light along the length of the oblong shape. Dimming is possible if dimmable bulbs are fitted, and the fitting is wired to Class I standards, meaning it needs an earth connection during installation. Its IP20 rating means it's suited to dry indoor rooms only, not bathrooms or other damp spaces.

Where It Works Best

The oblong shape makes this pendant a strong choice above a kitchen island or a long dining table, where the light needs to run the length of the surface rather than sit in one spot. It also works in an open plan living space, hallway or stairwell with enough ceiling height. As it's IP20 rated, it should be kept to dry indoor areas.

This is another variation within the Farnley range, using the same principle of clustering many individual glass rods into one oblong shape rather than a single shade. The rods can sit straight for a tidy, linear look or be angled for a more relaxed, staggered arrangement, and the iron frame underneath gives it enough rigidity to hold its form at this scale.
