It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class I standard, which means the fitting needs to be earthed as part of a proper installation. With an IP20 rating, this is designed for dry indoor spaces only and shouldn't be fitted anywhere near a sink, shower or other water source.
