The Hoot is a portable USB rechargeable lantern with a corrosion resistant aluminium body, built to handle life outside on a patio table, balcony or garden path as well as indoors. A 3 stage touch dimmer lets you set the brightness, and it comes with a 1 metre charging cable.
Made from aluminium alloy and glass, it has a built in 3.15W LED giving 230 lumens of 3000K warm white light. Rated IP44, it copes with damp and rain splash outdoors, making it a good choice for garden dining, a covered porch or a patio table. Some simple assembly may be needed on arrival. Weighs 0.84kg, with a 2 year warranty.
