Elstead Norfolk Single Pillar Lantern - Black

A lantern built to stand alone

The Norfolk pillar lantern comes complete with its own black post, ready to mark the start of a driveway, frame a garden gate or light a path without needing a wall to lean on. At just over a metre tall, it holds its own among flower beds and gravel alike.

A traditional glass front

Each face of the lantern head is built from five separate pieces of glass, held together with lead in a diamond pattern that catches the light from every angle. The black die cast aluminium body has a domed cap and a pointed finial, echoing the shape of an old gas lamp without any of the upkeep.

How it works

Fit one E27 bulb inside (a dimmable LED lets you dim the light if your wiring allows for it) and the lantern is rated IP43, built to shrug off rain and cold once it has been wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Set either side of a driveway entrance, along a path to the front door, or as a single marker at the corner of a lawn. Its self contained post means no wall mounting is needed, just a solid base to bolt it to.
