The Glenbeigh chain lantern is little more than a plain opal globe held inside a black frame, suspended on a matching chain so you can set the drop to suit a porch, canopy or entrance. It is a quiet design that lets the glow of the globe do the talking rather than any fussy detailing.

Made for the outdoors, not dressed up as something else

Frame and globe are moulded from black polymer and polycarbonate rather than metal and glass, so there is no rust or flaking paint to worry about over the years. Wiring is to Class II double insulated standards, which keeps things simple to install and safe to run outside.

How it works

It runs on a single E27 bulb, and you can dim it if you choose a dimmable lamp. The chain lets you hang the globe anywhere from 53.5cm to 73cm below the ceiling point, depending on how far down you want it to sit.

Where it works best

A natural fit above a covered porch or under an entrance canopy, where a soft downward pool of light matters more than a wide throw. It suits an exposed coastal spot just as readily as a sheltered suburban doorway.
