A Lantern That Stands on Its Own

Some lanterns need a wall to lean on. This one doesn't. The Bayview pedestal lantern sits on its own base beside a gatepost, a low wall, or the start of a path, doing the same job an old carriage lamp once did: marking the way in and making it look deliberate.

Black Aluminium, Bevelled Glass on Every Side

The lantern head is cast in aluminium and finished in black, glazed with clear bevelled glass on all four sides so the light spreads out rather than firing in one direction. A domed cap and a small ball finial top it off, and the whole thing sits on a stepped pedestal base ready to be fixed down.

How It Works

It takes one E27 bulb, not included, set centrally behind the glass. Fit a dimmable LED and it will work with a compatible dimmer.

Where It Works Best

Either side of a driveway entrance, on top of a low garden wall, or flanking a front gate, anywhere you want a fixed point of light rather than one perched on a tall post.
