A Wall Light with a Twist in the Glass
The round glass shade on this Dene wall light has a swirl pattern running through it, adding a bit of movement to what would otherwise be a plain clear shade. Paired with a satin black frame and an arm that adjusts freely, it's an easy way to bring a directional light with some visual character to a wall.
Choosing Your Finish
This one comes in satin black, a finish that tends to disappear into the background so the swirl glass can do the talking. The same fitting is available in other finishes elsewhere in the Dene range, polished nickel among them, if you'd rather match brighter metalwork already in the room.
How It Works
A single G9 bulb, 10W maximum, is needed and not supplied with the fitting. It's dimmable, provided you use a dimmable bulb and a dimmer switch designed to work with it. The wiring meets Class I standards, which means it needs to be earthed, and the IP44 rating keeps it protected against water splashing onto it from any direction.
