A Flexible LED Strip You Cut to Fit, Not the Other Way Round

The Collingwood LSC06 is a 24V constant voltage LED strip built for genuine room lighting rather than a thin ribbon of accent glow. It runs at 17W per metre with a CRI above 90, so colours read true under it rather than washed out, and Collingwood cuts every order to the exact length you need, up to 10m from a single reel.

White Tape, Three Colour Temperatures

The strip itself sits on a white flexible tape base, 12mm wide, so it fits into most standard aluminium profiles without packing or trimming. You choose the white tone at order time. 2700K gives a warm, traditional glow, 3000K a slightly crisper warm white, and 4000K a cooler, more neutral light closer to daylight.

Where It Works Best

Because it's rated IP20, the LSC06 is meant for dry indoor spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices and stairs. Most installers recess it into an aluminium profile or tuck it behind a pelmet or coving detail, so the strip itself disappears and only the light shows. It suits a continuous run along a hallway ceiling, under a staircase stringer, or built into joinery, anywhere a single length without joins matters more than a reel of one fixed size.

Questions People Ask

• Can I cut the strip myself once it arrives? The strip is supplied at the length you specify when ordering, so no further cutting should be needed, but standard LED strip has marked cut points at set intervals if a shorter run is ever required.
• Does it come with a driver? No. The LSC06 runs on 24V DC and needs a separate compatible driver, which is sold apart from the strip.
• Can I join two lengths together? Because it's supplied as a single length up to 10m, most installations won't need a join, but connectors are available where a run has to continue around a corner or past an obstruction.
• Is it suitable for a bathroom? No. At IP20 it's rated for dry indoor locations only and shouldn't be used in bathrooms or other wet or humid rooms.
