Sealed Against the Weather, Front and Back

The H2 Pro Extreme is Collingwood's answer to outdoor downlights that let damp creep in through the ceiling void above them. Most outdoor downlights only seal from below, which leaves them exposed to condensation and moisture getting in from above. This one is sealed to IP65 on both the front and the back of the fitting, so it holds up in soffits, canopies, porches and other genuinely exposed spots.

The White Finish

This version comes in a plain white finish with a coastal grade paint that resists corrosion and pitting in salty air, so it keeps its look even fitted close to the sea. The white bezel sits quietly against white soffits and ceilings, doing its job without drawing attention to itself.

How It Works

• Fixed 5W integral LED that wires straight to the mains supply, with no separate driver to source or replace.
• An on site switch sets the colour temperature to 2200K, 2700K or 3000K before you close up the fitting, giving 480, 570 or 560 lumens depending on which you choose.
• Mains dimmable, so it can be run from a standard dimmer circuit rather than needing specialist dimming control.
• Casts a 40 degree beam through a 65 to 75mm cutout, and measures 90mm across by 52mm deep once installed.

Where It Works Best

This is a fitting for the outside of the building rather than a living space. Think covered porches, entrance canopies, soffits along a roofline, or commercial premises that need weatherproof downlights fitted from below and can't tolerate condensation dripping in from a loft or ceiling void above. Its coastal grade finish also makes it a sensible pick for homes near the sea, where salt air corrodes ordinary outdoor fittings over time.

Can I change the colour temperature after it's fitted?

No. The CCT switch is set on site during installation, so choose 2200K, 2700K or 3000K before you close up the fitting.

Does it need a separate driver?

Will it hold up on the ceiling of a covered porch?
