The H2 Pro Extreme is a fixed downlight built for outdoor spots that most fittings can't handle, sealed to IP65 from both the front and the back. That back seal matters more than it sounds: a lot of outdoor downlights let moisture creep in from above the ceiling line, so soffits, canopies and eaves eventually cause problems. This one is finished in matte black with corrosion and salt spray resistance built in, making it a sound choice for coastal properties as well as garage fronts and commercial exteriors.
It runs at a fixed 5W and is colour switchable on site between 2200K, 2700K and 3000K, giving 480, 570 and 560 lumens respectively, so efficacy sits between 96 and 114 lumens per watt depending on which tone you pick. The LED is built into the fitting rather than a separate replaceable lamp, there's no driver to source separately, and it wires straight to the mains. It's mains dimmable, throws a 40 degree beam, and fits a 65-75mm cut-out.
Housed in aluminium and plastic, it's rated for a 40,000 hour lifespan and comes with a 4 year warranty. As with any outdoor or built-in fitting, we'd always recommend it's installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
