The H2 Pro Extreme in Anthracite Grey is a fixed downlight designed specifically for the outdoors, with a full IP65 seal covering both the front and the back of the fitting. Sealing the rear as well as the front stops moisture working its way in from above the ceiling, which is normally the weak point on outdoor downlights fitted into soffits or canopies. The grey finish is treated to resist corrosion and salt spray, so it's well suited to coastal homes as well as more general use on porches, garages and commercial building exteriors.
It draws a fixed 5W and offers a CCT switch on the back of the unit for 2200K, 2700K or 3000K, producing 480, 570 and 560 lumens respectively, which puts efficacy at roughly 96 to 114 lumens per watt across the range. The LED is integral and not user-replaceable, there's no separate driver to buy, and it wires directly to the mains. It's mains dimmable with a 40 degree beam angle and needs a 65-75mm cut-out.
Construction is aluminium and plastic, with a 40,000 hour rated lifespan and a 4 year warranty. Installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician.
