Most Caged lights are strictly indoor pieces, but the Wet Ceiling Light Small is the version made to handle steam, splashes and the odd exposed spot outside, without giving up the exposed bulb look the range is known for.

Steel keeps things cool and understated, Brass warms the fitting up with a metallic glow, and Gun Metal sits darkest of the three for a moodier finish. Each back panel is sand cast, so the surface texture and small pour marks vary slightly piece to piece, which is part of the process rather than a flaw.

How It Works

A single bulb sits in a solid metal, cross knurled lamp holder behind glass and metal cage panels, secured with signature coin screws, bulb not included. The fixture is rated IP44, meaning it's protected against water splashed from any direction. A little moisture may occasionally find its way into the cage, but it drains straight back out through built in drainage holes rather than sitting inside. It mounts to the ceiling and works as a wall light too.

Where It Works Best

This is the fitting to reach for anywhere a standard Caged light isn't allowed: bathrooms, ensuites, and covered exterior spots like a porch or loggia roof. Compare that to the standard, non Wet Caged Ceiling Light Small, which is for dry rooms only and should never go near a shower or an uncovered exterior.
