The Punch Bulb Puck trades the teardrop shape of the standard Buster Bulb for something smaller and squarer, an opal shelled bulb that spreads a uniform, warm white light rather than a focused pool. This dimmable version lets you take that light from a soft background glow up to a fuller brightness as needed.

Choose Your Finish

The Puck comes in a single opal finish, so there is no finish choice here. The real decision is between this dimmable 5W version and the non-dimmable 2W Punch Puck Bulb, depending on the switch you already have.

How It Works

This dimmable 5W LED bulb needs an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as the Buster + Punch Premium dimmer, though it also works on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 420 lumens with a CRI of 82, at a warm 2700K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours, using around a fiftieth of the energy of a traditional bulb for the light it gives out.

Where It Works Best

Fit it into any standard E27 screw fitting, though it was designed to pair with the Hooked and Caged ranges in particular. If your fitting only has a plain on and off switch, the bulb will still work, it will just run at full brightness with no dimming effect. This dimmable version should not be confused with the non-dimmable Punch Puck Bulb, which is not built for use on a dimmer circuit.
