Most small wall lights disappear into the wall they're fixed to. The Caged Wall Light Small does the opposite, wrapping a single bulb in a matt black metal cage so the light itself becomes the detail worth looking at, backed by a slab of polished marble.

Choose Your Finish

Black Marble gives the light a deep, almost graphic backdrop that suits a darker wall, ideal for grounding a look. White Marble bounces light back into the room and works well against darker paint. Since the panel is a natural stone, expect real veining and colour variation, so no two lights look quite the same.

How It Works

The cage and cross knurled lamp holder are finished in matt black metal, held together with signature coin screws. It houses a single E27 bulb, sold separately, with a dimmable option if your circuit uses a compatible switch. Mount it on the wall, or use the same fitting on the ceiling. Wire it straight into the electrics, or run it off an external cable and plug, cable not included.

Where It Works Best

Small is built for tight spots: above a console table, spaced along a hallway, or paired either side of a mirror. If you need something with more visual weight for a bigger wall, look to the Large or X-Large versions in the same Caged range instead. This is a dry location fitting, so keep it indoors and away from bathrooms or covered exteriors.

Can I use this in a bathroom?
No. This is a dry location fitting only, so it should not be used in bathrooms or anywhere exposed to damp or splashing water. For wet or bathroom rooms, look at the Caged Wet range instead.

What bulb do I need?
A single E27 bulb, sold separately. Choose a dimmable LED if your wall switch is dimmer compatible.

Can it go on the ceiling instead of the wall?
Yes. The same fitting works as either a wall or ceiling light, so it can sit flush to a ceiling as well as mounted upright on a wall.
